Project Details
The Middle & North Nigeria Crude Oil and Product Pipeline Development Project is a significant infrastructure initiative executed by a consortium consisting of AMITE Group as the investor, SINOPEC as the EPC contractor, and A.A. Rano as the local partner.
The project involves the construction of several key pipelines:
- 604-kilometer crude oil pipeline (16-inch diameter)
- 390.7-kilometer product pipeline (10-inch diameter)
- 170.8-kilometer product pipeline (12-inch diameter)
- Four storage depots and terminals
The project follows a Design, Finance, Rehabilitate, Build, Operate, Maintain, and Transfer (DFRBOMT) model, ensuring comprehensive coverage from design through long-term operation. Once completed, this project will significantly enhance Nigeria's energy infrastructure, supporting both crude oil production and refined product distribution while creating jobs and improving energy security.
