Nigeria NNPC Pipeline Project
- A transformative infrastructure project aimed at improving crude oil and product transportation, boosting energy security, and supporting economic development in Middle and North Nigeria.

The Middle & North Nigeria Crude Oil and Product Pipeline Development is a significant infrastructure project being executed by a consortium consisting of AMITE Group as the investor, SINOPEC as the EPC contractor, and A.A. Rano as the local partner. This project is expected to be a cornerstone in improving the oil and gas infrastructure in Nigeria, with a total investment of USD 4 billion.
The project involves the construction of several key pipelines, including a 604-kilometer crude oil pipeline with a 16-inch diameter, as well as two product pipelines: one 390.7 kilometers long with a 10-inch diameter, and another 170.8 kilometers long with a 12-inch diameter. Additionally, the project will establish four storage depots and terminals to support the transportation and distribution of crude oil and refined products across the Middle and Northern regions of Nigeria.
The project will follow a Design, Finance, Rehabilitate, Build, Operate, Maintain, and Transfer (DFRBOMT) model, which ensures that all aspects of the project, from design and construction to operation and maintenance, are covered. This model guarantees long-term functionality and operational efficiency, with the project’s concession period lasting 20 years, extendable up to 30 years.
Once completed, the project will significantly enhance Nigeria’s energy infrastructure, supporting both crude oil production and refined product distribution while contributing to local economic development through job creation and improved energy security for the region.
